OUTREACH AND EXTENSION:
• Talk "Genetics of 'difficult' characters applied to the varietal development in the genus Prunus." Dictated in the Center for Advanced Studies in Fruit Production (CEAF, VI Region, Chile) on April 4, 2017, the main advances in the characterization of complex phenotypes, of interest for Chilean fruit growing, were presented to the researchers and students of the center, such as the resistance to monilysis and the content of phenolic substances in stone fruits.

• Talk "Enhancement of research and teaching in genetics and nutrition: study of agrifood varieties for their improvement in terms of nutraceutical value", in the context of the weekly Scientific Meetings of INTA. Dictated on May 3, 2017 at the INTA. The advances in research of the insertion project in the academy were presented.
