Dedicated to the study of cellular processes involved in inflammation and cell signaling that perpetuate the development of oral cancer associated with local and chronic tissue inflammation, with special emphasis on inflammation-associated biomarkers such as cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), among others, whose expression is increased in various neoplasias. Analysis of the immuno-oncological context of HPV-associated malignant tumors.
