Formación de Capital Humano

During my career I have often worked with graduate students. I played an important role in advising Dr. Hideki Perrier during his Phd. Currently, I advice Miss Lina Castiblanco and Mr. Juan Calle in their Phd work, as well as Miss Katherine González in her Master's degree. Furthermore, I am an active teacher, having advised several undergraduate students in the work for the completion of their degree, and my current institution gave me a price for "distinguished teaching" in 2016. This project will allow us to build a group of young researchers, both students and postdocs, in order to strengthen the theoretical Cosmology community in Chile. We also hope to start developing the technical skills necessary to connect data with theory (from the theory side).

Difusión y Transferencia

I have always have a strong interest in outreach. In the last two years I have given more than 10 public talks in public elementary schools, high schools, museums, amateur astronomy meetings. I also participated in a couple of discussions in the radio. I am currently in charge of organizing the outreach of the Physics Institute at the Catholic University of Valparaiso. In this context we have received more than 10 high schools in the last couple of years, who visit our Institute and we make a few simple physics demonstrations with the hope of motivating their curiosity.
