Difusión y Transferencia


1. Políticas públicas: Experiencia colaborando en investigaciones o talleres de salud pública con los gobiernos de Colombia, Estados Unidos, Filipinas, Guatemala, Haití, México, Perú, Sri Lanka (Ministerios de Salud y/o Agricultura). Los resultados de su investigación han informado la toma de decisiones sobre políticas públicas, por ejemplo, para financiar una campaña de vacunación nacional contra la rabia canina en Haití, o para evaluar el uso de la la vacuna del dengue en México y Filipinas, y más recientemente, para CoVID-19 con el gobierno de Perú. El académico también ha colaborado con otras instituciones relevantes en el ámbito público, como la Fundación Carlos Slim y el Instituto de Salud Pública de México, generando evidencia rigurosa para informar la toma de decisiones. El académico fue invitado por la Organización Mundial de la Salud (OMS) al participar como experto en el Rabies Expert Consultation Meeting and Modeling Workshop, organizado por WHO Collaborating Centre for Reference and Research on Rabies, 26-29 de Abril, en Bangkok, Tailandia.
