Spinoff - Alicanto Labs
Alicanto Labs is a spin-off of the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez through which scientific developments in optimization algorithms for strategic mining planning have been transferred in a software called Alicanto Scheduler. This software is licensed to the company Deswik Mining Consultant for its commercialization through the platform Deswik.GO. Likewise, through Alicanto Labs, it has collaborated with several international mining companies, such as Newmont Mining (2014-current), Barrick Gold (2017-2018), Goldcorp} (2018- 2019) and Vale (2017-2018).
